Our Mission Statement
The Circle of Love strives to create a connection between the impoverished and the more fortunate. We are working with members of our community through donations and contributions to send supplies overseas to children that need them. These shipments include primarily clothes, shoes, and hygiene supplies. Our goal is for children to feel loved and cared for, no matter their circumstances. It is the hope of our team to pass more than just physical products but the everlasting feeling of want and acceptance. In order to do such a thing, we will be including notes of encouragement with every shipment of products. That is what sets us apart from other organizations of similar nature, that basis of love and youth. With the Circle of Love, there is absolutely no cost for the receiving end. We as a whole truly want to leave an everlasting mark on society and through this, we believe we can.

We are students, children, and a diverse community. We began as a group of high schoolers eager to make a difference in our world. As someone from an Indian and Nigerian background, I have firsthand witnessed the conditions that many people face, not just in these places, but also in regions like Guatemala, Ethiopia, Vietnam, and more. This global issue of scarcity and disparity struck me at a young age. My parents would encourage my brother and me to sort through our clothes annually, passing down smaller items and storing away ones that no longer fit. This process sparked a realization in me at a young age; those unused clothes could serve as crucial resources for individuals in need. Identifying this deeper issue led me to found the Circle of Love. Our goal is to extend our circle of sharing and caring beyond immediate boundaries, building connections, and offering support to those in need, wherever they might be. More than an organization, the Circle of Love stands as a testament to our shared belief in human dignity, empathy, and the transformative power of love. We invite you to join us on this journey towards a more inclusive and caring world.

As a child of immigrant parents from Vietnam, my parents and I understood and experienced the hardships of those that couldn't afford basic necessities firsthand. We see average people who worked every day still being unable to afford basic necessities like food or even clothing. When my parents eventually immigrated to America, they saw the often wasteful and harmful fast-fashion trends as an opportunity to bring give back to where they came from. We started a family tradition of going to goodwill and other local thrift shops and finding clothes that could be shipped back home for those that couldn't afford them otherwise. Everything from shirts, pants, to even shoes was in need back home. So together, with my best friend Lukas, I decided that I could do more good by bringing this tradition to scale. We believe that with the help of our community, we can do more good and help improve the welfare of everyday people.

As someone who grew up in upstate New York, I have always felt a strong connection to my community and a deep desire to make a positive impact on the world. From a young age, I was inspired by the values of giving and service that my family instilled in me. These values became the foundation for my involvement in our nonprofit organization, where I work alongside my fellow friends and founders, Lukas and Dylan. Through this work, I have had the privilege of contributing to a mission that goes beyond simply providing necessities; we aim to spread love, hope, and a sense of belonging to those who need it most. My journey with this nonprofit has been both challenging and rewarding, reinforcing my belief that together, we can create lasting change. At our core, we are a diverse group of students and young leaders, united by a common goal: to extend our circle of care and compassion to every corner of the globe. It’s been an honor to help build and grow this initiative, and I’m excited to continue working towards a more inclusive and caring world.
